How To Market Your Business – Choose What You Like
Hi! It’s me, Helle from Greenie-Online, and today I would like to talk with you about what you should offer your potential clients.
If you’re a little bit like me, you have thousands of ideas of what you would like to offer your clients, and you don’t have any clue as to what will fit, or what you can sell, or what to price it… or whatever! You do need to see what will work, however, and there are two different ways to go about this.
The first way is if you already have a following, for instance if you have a blog or something. Ask your potential clients what they would like, and see what resonates with them. The other way is the way most people do it, because they don’t have a following when they start out, and that is just to try some stuff. I suggest going for what you really like, to see if it fits.
For instance, when I’m planting my garden, I don’t know what’s going to work each year, because I don’t know how the summer’s going to go. I don’t know how the soil is, so I just go for what I like. If I really like onions, which I do, and I also like carrots or kale, and I would like some different kinds of roots and stuff, then I’ll just go ahead and plant a little bit of everything to see what fits, because you never know. It’s amazing! One year, you’ll have a lot of carrots and no onions, and the other year is going to be the other way around.
You should treat your way of thinking about what you should offer your clients in the same way. You should play a little with it, have some fun, and see what works. You don’t have to have it right the first time. Just go and see what fits with your potential clients.
So, have some fun with it, and I’ll see you next time. Now, go grow your own business!
